LEIGHTON BEACH

Public BBQ

The beach is generally nice but with a few rocks around the place. It has clear, crystal water, white sand, and is not crowded. There are great shower and change rooms, BBQ facilities, and beach access is good. The beach is not a surfing spot but is patrolled by SLS on weekends and public holidays. There is ample parking, train station access, and an easy bike path. Nearby, there are cafes, restaurants, a surf club, green parks with picnic areas, and disability access. The beach is not dog-friendly, but it's perfect for families, long walks, and swimming.
